During the LYRASIS 3rd Annual Member Summit at the Nashville Public Library held on October 24, 2018, we met each of our 2018 Catalyst Fund recipients and heard about their innovative projects. We’ll post each presentation over the course of the next few days. Is this a project that might benefit your organization?

In this video, meet Danielle Emerling, Congressional & Political Papers Archivist and Assistant Curator and one of the project managers for West Virginia University’s Catalyst Funded project, “Access to US Congressional Correspondence Data”. This project’s goal is to complete a feasibility study that will assess and plan for the future collaborative technical infrastructure for an open-source congressional correspondence data access tool, to improve how libraries process and provide access to large data sets with sensitive information and how scholars and the public use data related to Americans’ civic engagement.
