During the LYRASIS 3rd Annual Member Summit at the Nashville Public Library held on October 24, 2018, we met each of our 2018 Catalyst Fund recipients and heard about their innovative projects. We’ll post each presentation over the course of the next few days. Is this a project that might benefit your organization?
In this video, meet Carolyn M. Goldstein, Ph.D., Public History & Community Archives Program Manager and one of the project managers of University of Massachusetts Boston Catalyst Funded project, “Online Instruction for Participatory Archiving”. This project will develop an informational video and a set of instructional materials that will empower libraries of all kinds to partner effectively with community groups to organize day-long digitizing events to collect photographs, stories, memories, and other community-based cultural heritage materials documenting our nation’s collective history.
