During the LYRASIS 3rd Annual Member Summit at the Nashville Public Library held on October 24, 2018, we met each of our 2018 Catalyst Fund recipients and heard about their innovative projects. We’ll post each presentation over the course of the next few days. Is this a project that might benefit your organization?

In this video, meet John Shanahan, Associate Dean & Director of Liberal Studies, Associate Professor of English and one of the project managers for the DePaul University’s Catalyst Funded project, “Data-Intensive Tools for Modeling and Visualization Mass Reading”. This project will support development of new models of data for civic reading initiatives across book content, social media, city demographics, and other factors, with an interactive dashboard and visualizations to provide insights for academic and public librarians and the general public.
