Classes & Consulting
Last year, our instructors conducted 313 hours of classes. On average our classes are 2-4 hours in duration. 2780 members and nonmembers attended our online and face-to-face courses. Additionally, if you are interested in an online course but cannot attend on the day of class, you might want to go ahead and register. The online sessions are recorded and you will have access to the instructor and materials!
Membership Outreach & Site Visits
Each region in the US has their very own LYRASIS staff dedicated to services and ready to visit your organization and meet with you in your own setting! Last year, the Membership Outreach staff visited nearly 200 member archives, libraries and museums. With each visit, we hear from you and your staff about projects and priorities and take a look at how LYRASIS and our services match your needs. Would you like us to visit? Request a visit.
Last year, we held 12 face-to-face meetings in 12 locations and met over 200 leaders within our membership. We are planning 6-8 Forums this year where we can meet with you to talk about trends and cutting edge solutions. Stay tuned for new dates and locations for 2017.
In October, more than 100 members and staff met to discuss the LYRASIS community, Leaders Circle, Workflows, Open Source, Open Access and more. We celebrated the LYRASIS membership and achievements. We plan on hosting another Member Summit in 2017. A save the date will be announced shortly.
Our Membership Team can provide a detail report of your LYRASIS usage and make recommendations of additional savings or programs that might be an added benefit to your organization.
