This session will share Chan's perspective of the future of OA, one that goes beyond publishing alternatives and incentives. Chan’s perspective is based on a holistic conversation about infrastructure, who owns it, who benefits, and who doesn’t. This session will explore how the original expansive and optimistic view of OA twenty years ago didn’t work out and what a bold discussion about change could mean for the future.
