During the LYRASIS 3rd Annual Member Summit at the Nashville Public Library held on October 24, 2018, we met each of our 2018 Catalyst Fund recipients and heard about their innovative projects. We’ll post each presentation over the course of the next few days. Is this a project that might benefit your organization?
In this video, meet Kara M. McClurken, Director of Preservation Services, and Jeremy Boggs, Head of Research & Development. Both are the project managers for the University of Virginia’s Catalyst Funded project, “Digital Collecting in Times of Crisis”. This project will enable cultural institutions and communities of all sizes to be prepared for and able to implement digital collecting strategies during and after rapidly evolving social events and community crises by creating templates and documentation to quickly set up an open source tool to collect and provide access to digital materials including photos, videos and social media.
